late 18th century French cotton indigo resist  quilt block printed with beautifully drawn flower heads and leaves in madder red and indigo.The reverse a fine check in ndigo and red with a central patched strip of red cotton.

The indigo side a beautiful faded indigo with uneven colouring that adds to its charm and interest.
