Rare late 18th century French cotton pelmet from a Neufchâtel (?) manufacturer of an arborescent design of gnarled flowering branches.Block printed in 5 most beautiful colours on a warm white ground and finished with a green wool trim.

One or two small nicks in the cotton with some spots of discolouration.
