Early 19th century French bourette de soie single curtain, probably once part of a bed's hangings in an amazing shade of a subtle green that is almost alive in its depth of soft colour.Bordered to one side and along its hem in a silk trim woven in a simple pattern and on its other side by a delicate green silk ribbon.The curtain is gathered at it's top top. A most beautiful textile.
