Beautiful early 19th century French cotton quilt block printed with various madder red and saffron yellow stylised motifs on an indigo resist ground.The reverse a later print of rust and pale brown flowers on meandering branches with berried leaves.

In very good condition with some small splits in the cotton in places along its edge.
