Pair of mid-19th century French chintz panels, originally part of the hangings on a four poster bed.Printed in intense vibrant colours with birds perched on festooned ivy  amongst arabesques and  swags of flowers.Pretty scalloped hem.

Each panel width of 59cm has a seamed join of 41cm + 18cm

Some scattered mildew damage and one small area at one panel's inside edge where the wool padding is appearing through.
