Late 18th century French pretty 'window pane' cotton quilt with a fichu at its cenrter.Pale rasberry red flowers with bleu de pastel leaves and foliage that have black variated lines with diamond shapes at intervals.The fichu is bordered with a simple block printed design.

The quilt is a lovely soft 'old' white and not a 'clean ' bright white with one mark near the center and one or two stains on the reverse that do not appear on the fromt.
