French c.1802-10 'Paul et Virginie' a Jean- Baptiste Huet  design for Manufacture Oberkamf at Jouy-en-Josas.The outlines are copper roller printed  on cotton while the bisque colour was blockprinted.Consists of scenes from the same named late 18th century novel of their childhood, the storm and the shipwreck.

This document in an as found condition with faded staining and discolouration, darns,small tears and holes and an old ink stain.The colour on the reverse is stronger.
