French circa 1789s large cotton quilt with a blockprinted design of a small pink and white floral motif with stylised red, pink and green leaves on a printed burgundy red ground.The deep border is an early 19th century design of tiny rosebuds on a tan ground.The reverse a later 19th century seaweed cotton print.

In good condition with a few tiny holes.
