Late 18th century French quilted cushion, a original section of faded blue de pastel/woad blockprinted with a simple motif and paired with a turkey red cotton.With 19th century French cotton tassels at each corner and backed in hand dyed natural indigo 19th century French linen.

Slipstitched closed with a duck feather cushion pad.

Some unevenness in the blue pastel.

Wear consistent with its age and use...some discolouration,missing quilt stitches and teeny hole or two.
