Late 18th century French small cotton quilt blockprinted with a simple and striking graphic design of terracotta, white and black cubes on a small brown and white check.The reverse is an early 19th century print of rows of mauve, lime green with touches of blue flowering climber.Quilted densely with a wavy patterned border.

The graphic side in a good condition but the reverse has some small holes where the wool padding is escaping.
