Eary 19th century French cotton flamme/ikat pelmet originallyfor use round a four poster bed.On one side there are two variations of the flamme design, while the reverse has faded to a very pretty soft shade of indigo.Quilted in a simple diamond pattern and edged in an indigo linen trim.

One or two flaws to the weave that are original to the piece.
