Large early 19th century French single curtain printed with a striking indienne design of large-scale exotic birds and flowers on meandering branches.Originally part of a set of bed hangings for a four poster bed, it retains its gathered top edge and cord loops.A beautiful soft rasberry red colour print on a off-white ground.With a flat seamed join 45cm down from the top and some sun fading to its right side.
