French circa 1820s cotton blockprinted and quilted cushion in a striking design of bright saffron yellow and madder stylised flower heads surrounded by dark leaves on a blue pastel ground .Backed in a natural hand-dyed 19th century French linen and slipstitched closed with a duck feather cushion pad.
