French circa 1780s toile from Bolbec blockprinted with a charming print of a man in a blue suit and striped stockings with a bird in his hand and a dog by his side.He is surrounded by an arching tree and clusters of flowers on a picotage ground.

Backed in a natural dyed 19th century French linen and slip-stitched closed with a duck feather cushion pad.
