Pair of French circa 1790s  indigo flamme linen cushions.This unusual large scale version of the ikat pattern has faded to a perfect shade of light indigo .Backed in a hand dyed natural indigo 19th century French linen.Slip-stitched closed with a duck feather insert.

In good condition, one cushion has an uneven faded area going diagonally across which adds to its charm.
