Late 18th century circa 1780-89 French indigo resist quilt , blockprinted on a coarsely woven cotton cloth wihj a stylised design of pomegranates and flowers.A beautiful shade of faded indigo.Backed in an early 19th century, circa 1820s design in rich colours.

In good condition other than some damage (weakened cloth) in the middle and one small hole
