One of the most charming French toiles ‘Le Kakatoos’ from Nantes and dated c.1815.Scenes of a mother sitting with her sleeping baby and playing with her child next to a parrot and cockatoo on a perch amongst more rustic scenes of a couple with chickens and goats.Copper plate printed in a raspberry red.Originally a pelmet or bande de lit to go around a four poster bed.

In good condition with some old faded marks, due to its storage condition.
