Wonderful pair of 19th century French red and white striped cotton pelmets perhaps from an outside awning or used inside.Quite a light and tightly woven cotton the red has faded to a gentle rasberry
With sun discolouration and rust marks from nails, darns, mends and a few tears but despite this all, the pelmets have great charm and elegance.
