Late 19th century French prettily faded blue toile pair of curtains.The design is a large scale version of a circa 1790 Toile de Nantes ‘Telemaque et Calypso’.Home-made with an unfinished top and lined with a white linen.Edged with a charming blue and white cotton trim, that has a bit of discolouring in places.

A few rust marks towrds the bottom of one and a small repair on the other.

Each curtain measures 77 cm wide x 255cm tall
