Fichu Section French 1790-1820s

Late 18th-early-19th century French cotton fichu section blockprinted with madder red flowers with touches of saffron yellow and of bleu de pastel.

In an as found antique condition with one end iwhere the design is incomplete.It is also made up from two seamed together sections.One edge has a handstitched hem , the others are raw.

With some colour rubbing and faint staining/discolouration to the white ground.
