Late 18th century French linen and cotton mix woven indigo flamme/ikat panel.An interesting larger scale design than the usual flamme that is found, which has now faded to a very appealing soft indigo colour.A section from a larger original piece.
Many repairs old and newer, a few old darns too with scattered small holes which has resulted in a beautiful time worn textile.
