Beautiful 18th Century chintz quilt possibly French or Swiss, printed with madder red with touches of bleu de pastel stylised flowers and green and yellow leaves.
In an as found antique overall good condition, the white ground is not a pristine white and it has some age related small brown spots here and there on the front and back of the quilt.With some discolourtion to the white ground and some small damage to an edge of the quilt.
