Beautiful early 19th century French cotton quilt block printed with 'bonnes herbes' textile from the Oberkampf workshops at Jouy-en-Josas. Bonnes herbes are designs depicting densely patterned flowers and foliage in dark greens, this one is highlighted with flashes of blue and yellow.This gorgeous quilt has been in the same bastide, Provencal country manor for over 200 years.
In very good condition with one or two small spots of damage.
