French circa 1780 quilt with a simple but striking design of stylised dusty pink flowers alternating with patterned twisting columns on a picotage ground and block printed on a coarsely woven cotton.The reverse a design of 'bleu de pastel' and rose pink flowers set amongst patterned wavy lines on a plain ground.Both sides are beautiful and unusual textiles
In an as found condition with holes and splits across the quilt on both sides.
