Circa 1780-90s French bande de lit, a pelmet for a four poster bed.A lovely block printed design on siamoise, a handspun linen/cotton, in a large scale stylised madder flowers alternating with a twisting patterned stripe.On the  reverse a 25cm deep section of the same design has been used

In an as found antique condition with some sections of the design a stronger madder.A few small holes and weak areas.
