French circa 1830-40s cushion made from a section of a cotton quilt blockprinted with red and bluepaisley motifs.The section used is a corner of the quilt with curving boteh motifs bordering a densely patterned area.Backed in a hand dyed 19th century French linen and slip-stitched closed wiyj a duck feather cushion pad.
