A cushion created from an as found quilt section of a late 18th century French beautifully faded indigo cotton woven flamme with a border of 19th century printed cotton, Bordered to the side with another woven cotton, it is a patchwork of sympathetic blues and woven textures and an as found piece.Backed in an early 20th century woven textile it is slipped stitched closed with a duck feather cushion pad.
