Circa 1790s French quilted cotton cushion, an original section of a faded blue de pastel/ woad blockprinted with a simple motif design and paired with a turkey red cotton.With century French cotton tassels at each corner and backed in a hand dyed natural indigo 19th century French linen.Slipstitched closed with a duck feather cushion pad.
Some unevenness in colour going across the blue.
Wear consistent with its age and use...some discolouration,missing quilt stitches and teeny hole or two.
