French circa 1780s blockprinted on a coarsely woven cotton with a design of stylised red flowers and spotted leaves on meandering branches on a picotage ground.Backed in a natural indigo dyed 19th century French linen and gernerously filled with English lavender.

Some spots of faded brown discolouration.
