18th century French quilted cotton cushion in a softly faded bleu de pastel(blue woad) blockprinted design of stylised flowers contrasted with its original plain red.Backed in a 19th century French blue check linen from Alsace.Slipstitched closed with a duck feather cushion pad.

With some quilted stitching missing and a faded mark or two.
