French cotton/linen quilted cushion of a block-printed toile called 'La Corne Fleurie' by Manufacure Petitpierre Freres in Nantes ,circa 1790.A striking design of a stylised flower on a picotage ground.The quilted textile is bordered on each side by a plain antique linen and is backed in an early 20th century French herringbone linen.Slip-stitched closed with a duck feather insert.With tufts of vintage cottobn on each corner.
