Indigo Resist Block Printed Cotton Quilt French 18th Century

Late 18th/ early 19th century French indigo resist cotton quilt block printed with a striking but simple design of pomegranates in vases against a patterned ground.Pieced with several widths vertically and horizontally sewn together.The  reverse a soft red block printed cotton.

In good overall as found antique condition with some small weakness in the cotton in places and a few faded marks.
