Saffron Yellow & Green Striped Imberline Curtains French 19th Century

Wonderful 19th century French pair of imberline (a textile of silk warp threads in a satin weave over linen weft threads) curtains.Soft patterned green and saffron yellow stripes.Finished with cotton fringing on the inside of each curtain and along the hems and lined in a cotton textile.

Pelmets:160cm wide x 38cm & 140cmx 36cm.

In a good as found antique condition with one small area of damage on one curtain's edge approx 45cm from the top.
